if anyone thinks that the republicans are going to maintain control here, you're still high on crack from saturday.

so...

anything we can look forward to? in roughly 48 hours, we will see the US gov't get upturned again. sooooo...

where do we see outselves heading in the following areas

iraq immigration abortion emminent domain stemcell resaerch

ill leave the conomy out of it as its the best it has ever been, and unemployment is at a historical low as well.

No matter who is in control Iraq is only going to get worse in the short term to near term.

I don't know in terms of specifics, but the thing I'm most looking forward to is the fact that there will no longer be a rubber stamp for whatever W feels like doing. There may not be a [B]lot[/B] of legislation passed in the next couple of years, but I think we can all feel better about the legislation that [B]is [/B]passed, because it will be fully vetted through an adversarial process. There hasn't been any actual debate in Congress for at least 4 years -- that will be the biggest change.

hopefully the christain right leadership will begin to listen to these people b4 thier support is eroded

Spot on, and you can add to that some war related Congressional hearings. These will range somewhere between a witch-hunt and a goose chase, but at least there will be some accountability and perhaps a fall-guy or two.
