Back in the late 80s/early 90s it was the dems turn and I believe everyone remembers the republican round 15 or so years before that ;)

Yup, corruption breeds itself. Too much power and you become overwhelmed. As Sightless said in another thread any guy tryling to get elected for there eighth term needs to be replaced. I'm afraid to say it, but it would happen to all of us.
