those two women who were killed by isreali forces got what was coming. they walked into a hostile situation to protect criminals in action, and right then, became enemy combatants. just b/c you dont have dick, doesnt mean you're off limits. as can be shown by thier ability to bomb crowds of innocents.

I'll help you out with a more reasoned argument...

so let me see if I get this story right, the militants fire rockets at Israel and the Israelis pursue them in their town and the militants decide to hide in a mosque. Then the women come to help the miltants by bringing gowns and scarves, that the palestinian women wear, so the militants could disguise themselves and escape.

I hate to say it, cause it normally isn't in my nature, but this idea of "civilians" supporting the militants and/or shielding them, by it's very definition, no longer makes them civilians. You can't walk into a battlefield and then act indignant when you get shot...that's what happens in battlefields. :roll:

If the muslim/arab community find it justified to kill Israelis and/or American civilians because they voted their governments in place, then all the more so the Israelis are justified when it happens to women actively supporting the militant combatants.

Believe me I want peace in that region more than most, as I have family there, but if there is to be any true peace there then civilians need to stop supporting the extremists and the miltants and rather actively support those who do want to make peace. Unfortunately I do not find this happening in Palestine at the moment and it truly saddens me.

its not even like hamas ''took'' human sheilds. the people were there openly supporting them, voluntarily. im still wondernig why the UN doesnt launch a daisy cutter at these rallies where a few hundred thousand people show up to support hamas.....

its not over the top, you need the explosion to cover a large area. rockets will only blow up a few square yards. i want to see a US style vietnam napalm offensive.

Any link to the story? I do agree that people who support Hamas militants in the open are basically joining combat and cannot be regarded as civilians anymore - it's the same as training kids to shoot or throw stones and grenades, they're just playing with the general view that one does not touch women and children in battle. Emotional blackmail...well fuck that.
