Families angered by discovery of remains near WTC site
Re: Families angered by discovery of remains near WTC site
i saw that story on nbc news last night, sad for them..hard for the authorities though. the familes want a lot more searching to be done until everyone who is still missing can be identified and they want to halt some construction on the site. its a lose lose situation for everyone since the ending which ever way it goes is not going to be good. :what

Between some of the stuff that still can't be tested with current DNA technology, and the other remains that either got carted off during the cleanup, or were probably incinerated into oblivion, something of this magnitude will never be able to be full-scale completed...

^^ i agree

what's the use of more searching? Just leave it be, and I especially dont understand that those people get angry - the dead are still dead very much, and you just cannot find all remains in such a rubble.
People get angry all the time on things that are beynd their control and refuse to just let go, or accept a loss. Maybe the search could've been done better, but I bet that the people that did search tried their very best. Let go, move on.
For the same reason I despise those groups of people still asking for apologies from Japan and Germany for WWII every year, it's been 50 years! Let people remember, but don't keep living in the past.

^^totally agree man. It always seems like someone is always looking for a lawsuit or always looking for the wrong way to deal with things. Like you said it's not like the people didn't put any effort in to dealing with the aftermath, they did the best they could.
