Re: NK to carry out nuke test

I would be most concerned over how Japan will react if something like this happens.

Re: NK to carry out nuke test

this goes beyond pissing off the international community. this is scaring the absoulte shit outta the international community. truly inflamatory, especially in the context of the poster and the mindset they have that would create propaganda like that. if their goal is to start WWIII, then they're doing a bang-up job.
if their goal is to start WWIII, then they're doing a bang-up job.
they won't imo. they might have a large army, but they're alone: even China won't jump in when they start agression against the US or the EU since we're China's largest markets. they just have this crazy thought in their brainwashed heads that the US is going to start a nuclear war against them. must be a lot of dope in the tap water...

agreed. but i would one day hope to think they wouldnt jump in because they, like most UN nations, arent really for war, but rather, dedicated to a peaceful coexistence and sharing of ideas. obviosuly, thier version of communism works and so does our capitalism. and we get along. hopefully, the next war that may or may not happen would be those nations getting someone like jong out. i like to think that everyone will get on the same page and realize peace is better than the shit we have now and can only lead to better things.

eh, little side rant there. one can hope.

BOOM! The fuckers popped one: http://edition.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/asiapcf/10/09/korea.nuclear.test/index.html

I wonder how China is going to react to this slap in the face. They already "disapproved" of the test, but imo this is going to hurt the relations between NK and Beijing.

Re: NK to carry out nuke test

it is possible it might not have even been a nuclear explosion yet. it was so small to any normal nuclear explosion, they can't tell yet. it'll take a couple days. bullshitters, imo.

Re: NK to carry out nuke test

Isn't it time to wonder whether we as western world aren't the 'shaft (axle) of evil'. I think some countries would score very high on that matter.

Re: NK to carry out nuke test

if trying to rebuild a country in poverty and terror to be democratic and civil is evil, then yes.

if there were a -10 million button, i woulda clicked it.and im usually understanding of your thoughts. tell me the US is evil when we agress on canada or mexico or any other nation dedicated to peace and equality as opposed to the guy who has the milita and weapons wins. go to africa, and enjoy the last region on the planet that hasnt seen us go in and attempt to make it better. yeah we use military might, but the last few ''evil acts by the US'' were to stop an invasion in the 90's, stop ethnic cleansing in the late 90's, to remove a sick bunch of towel toting fraks in afghanistan who were sheltering a man who was responsible for no less than 4000 deaths in the last 10 years, and while completely misguided and under false pretenses, we removed saddam, a man who religiously cleansed his own country, then decided to wipe out his detractors and literally desstroy the land they live off of.

now, i can see it, you probably want the darfur situation to end and once the UN gets involved and someone in darfur dies by a hand that isnt arab islamic, you will blame them for meddling in african affairs, you cant have it both ways, and frankly, most of the time, violence is the only answer outside of the french solution of give up, give in, accept and collude.

Re: NK to carry out nuke test

Well it is something you have to consider and reflect on before pointing directly at one or another in a tricky situation. Not implying per se you normally dont do that btw.

I mean look at rather awkward situations in Russia, over 90 kiled journalists the past ten years. None ever solved. China which censors its own citizens, throws them out of their homes to make room for new and bigger apartment buildings and businesses.Plus they mess up Africa in their serach for oil. USA, which under fals pretenses invaded iraq, kidnap who ever they want and dont really seem to have problems to use rather dodgy kind of warfare on diverse targets. Well and we all know the French right.

My point is we should be concerned about our own 'western world' too. Humanitarian boundaries seem to fade more and more often. But don't think i'm all anti-western and all. Since we do have democracy i wouldnt want to trade with a dictatorship in a million years.
