yep. that will dry out his alcohol problem.

maybe he can get page's revenge tattoo'd on his forehead too :)

Re: foley feeling it now.

I guess the alcohol problem wasn't generating quite enough sympathy to get him off the hook, so now he's claiming he was molested as a child.

I'm just not buying it. Pedophilia is off the chart wrong, and if in fact he was molested as a child, then I feel for the guy, but I have to call bullshit on this -- at this point, I feel like he's grasping for something that will allow him to save some face.

Never really understood the venom for The Daily Show. So what if they are leading an anti-Bush charge? Because they don't have actual access to the White House, they are one of the few media outlets that can actually openly call the administration on its bullshit without having to worry about being cut off. For a long time, it has been the only voice to oppose the president.

First and foremost, though, it's really, really funny.

Re: foley feeling it now.

my venom for the daily show is due to the fact that they ruined it. i watched it day one and it used to be funny, ignorant of PC vs un PC shit, and just comedy. stewart tries to be a witty version of tim russert. so passe. do comedy.

the show was better when kilborne was interviewing charles doty and there were 5 questions.

now, its like a berkely campus TV show. notice how they havent once mentioned our rocketing economy.

Daily show rocks, plain and simple. They can't help it that the Republicans just seem to be so adept lately at giving them plenty of good material.
