fucking japanese people- i dont understand their ethics. they are among the most advanced race on earth and yet have still not advanced to the stage of respecting socially advanced organisms, who have complex social lives and intelligence we will never understand in its fullest or could even contemplate. have we not come all this way in evolutionary time to know that these animals are not to be killed.

Re: dolphin slaughter

I agree, but many cultures are different. Because you view their culture differently, a culture that thrives mostly on seadwelling creatures, does not necessarily make them wrong. I get pissed when forest rangers take down bears and mountain lions, but it's our culture to do that because we think we own everything.

No really, why do people give a toss about dolphins being killed? Only one reason: "Because they look so cuuuuuuute." Aw please, so it's wrong to kill off some fish, but it's ok to slaughter poultry and cattle? Fuck that shit. When I see a chicken, I see drum sticks. When I see a pig, I see bacon. When I see a cow a see a nice steak on my plate. Same thing for any other (not endangered) animal. Man is on the top of the food chain for a reason: to eat everything below us.

This crap is sooo city people like. Get out of you apartement, go to the countryside and taste the real life. And oh yeah, have some dolphin sushi for on the way, it's quite yummie I've been told.

my hair is shorter than your mommies pubes and i have a job. and its not because they are so cuuuuuuuute most people that campaign against this are scientists adn know full well that they live complex social lives and that they are highly intelligent organisms as i have said above.you are one dumb ignorant fucker. i likes my meats , but cattle and poultry are farmed, yes in a inhumane way but they are farmed. if you actually read the article you would see that they do in fact take endagered and protecrted species, your ignorance appals me. i guess you are among the hicks and savages that almost contemplated joining the army "cause i wonna kill sumtin" is your name billy bob? and the japs have surplus whale meat which means they are just savages-always have been always will.

"go to the countryside and taste the real life" i live in the countryside what exactly does that mean. dolphin are mammals , mammals billy bob. thats a bad billy bob.

im sorry i disagree totally there with you. dont lecture me on "culture".nothing worse than when some one is whining " b-b-b-b-b-but its their culture" if all countries on this planet still maintained their culture practises this would be one fucked up world i mean come on, seriously.

Re: dolphin slaughter

liberal causes are histerical IMHO. they want peace, but wont fight for it. they want to save dolphins, but ignore every other animal. they use MONSTER DIESEL tankers to protest t sea. they want certain things, but ignore others. i.e. the darfur situation, obviously, darfur and somalia cant be saved without military intervention, and they will bitch until we do it, then when someone dies, they will become anti war and look to stop it...

fucking hippies.

and scag, this is your first and last warning. stop insults NOW> or say goodbye, we discuss facts, and allow ppl to voice thier opinions based on facts, if you are wrong, admit it, if you need to correct a fact, correct the fact and DO NOT insult. we have gone past that and those who post here realize that. express opinions, dont argue and show facts. insult lead to a nice goodbye.

As for the advanced thingie, here's another fact: Von Frisch showed us already decades ago that bees live in societies and have a communication system. if you were actually aware of von frisch's paper he noted that they are extremely advanced organisms so advanced that they have not changed in millions of years. so stop your google searches and stop acting smart

I was going to come on to your defense, but because you can't coherently figure out that my statement wasn't a whine or lecture on a culture, I've decided to just let you get verbally anal raped by everyone else. Furthermore, many countries around the world still maintain their cultures and a lot of japanese people do. Try taking a trip there sometime and you'll truly see how much of their culture is retained. As usual, ignorance is bliss....

Re: dolphin slaughter

I have to say, this thread is highly amusing. Kinky already made all the good points. But, I'm still going to run my mouth for a bit anyways.

ahem...

It always cracks me up when people get all pissy about dolphins or the spotted owl or the tuna or whatever other PC cause of the moment when:

 1. the people themselves eat meat all the time.
 2. they don't really give a shit about any other kinds of animals that are killed anywhere else in the world, just the ones that are the current PC brainwashing fad.
 3. they care much more about something with a dolphin on the other side of the globe than injustices faced by PEOPLE right in their own societies, not to mention elsewhere around the world.

I do believe that classifies one as....hmm, ah yes - a simple-minded hypocrite.

:D

^^^ Hammer, nail, head.

Btw, you have no idea what species are considered PC these days. It's like those PeTA tree huggers making a fuss about the latest marketing stunt from Six Flags (the cockroach promo). Of all the retarded actions they've started, this one takes the prize...
fucking dominicans.
Yeah, their women are pretty good at that actually. Nothing like a morena shag after a nice piece of roasted dolphin. Pitty there are no baby seals to club in the Dominican Republic.

Re: dolphin slaughter

Haha this thread is gold.

As far as I can gather, it's ok to hunt deers, bears, whatever for pleasure, but not dolphins? America has a big hunting culture. If you ask me, bears are more advanced than dolphins. Just put the two up against each other in a boxing ring and see who comes out on top.

Last time I looked the following regions of the world like to hunt for leisure - Pretty much all of Europe, all of America, Africa, Australia and the rest of Oceania, and don't forget Asia.

I'm sure the middle east enjoys a good hunt too, but I can't say for sure on that one.

That's most of the world covered. Just because one country is chasing the cute animals doesn't mean you can kick up a stink.

We've been lucky enough to be placed on a planet which also happens to be the mother of all buffets. Enjoy all these yummy animals and STFU.
