JANET JACKSON: BUSH WHITE HOUSE USED MY BOOB TO DISTRACT FROM IRAQ

Janet Jackson now claims that her "Nipplegate" Super Bowl incident was used by the Bush administration to distract people from the war in Iraq!

Mike Slezak, managing editor of GENRE magazine, tells DRUDGE he has set the provocative Jackson interview for October's issue.

Re:: poli_funny

That is a friggin' riot!!! Janet's been hanging around her brother too much -- what self-important delusions!!!

On a related note, however, I do find it ironic that around the time of Nipplegate, the Bush administration had opposed a detailed investigation into 9/11, opposed a detailed investigation into the WMD issue, and there had STILL not been any investigation into who leaked the name of an undercover CIA operative (whose spouse spoke out openly against Bush), but Janet Jackson's boob appears on national TV for a split second and there is literally an investigation launched that day. Some fucked up priorities, for sure!!!

Not that I advocate naked breasts on TV 24/7, but the nations reaction to that blew me away. If that had been a legitmate accident, like when Lucy Lawless popped out of her dress while singing the star-spangled banner, it would have been a funny, unfortunate incident. Instead, we refer to it as Nipplegate. What a crazy, often prudish nation we live in here in the US.

Actually, on second thought, I do advocate naked breasts on TV 24/7. :Naughty:

I knew we'd agree on something eventually there toasty. I can't believe the phenomenon that one nipple caused. In any other civilized country in the world, people would have been laughing their heads off, and Janet would have been nothing but embarressed.

Instead we come up with another conspiricy theory, this is why bleading heart liberals irritate me most the time, its like they will stand by some of the most retarded theories you've ever heard. Personally I think Bush is actually KoDo from the Simpsons, and he's just trying to take over the world. Janet just got caught in the middle.

warning. the word, fuck & fucking are used in the text below. there is no other way of sharing the word "Liberal" without a fucked, fuck, fucking. thank you

in ore-y-gun, they fucking drive down the freeway in the left hand lane going 50 in a 55. the two right lanes are open and there is no one in front of them. as i ride their ass ... i see a Kerry sticker. nothing gets me more upset in life. i pass them by and yell some childish obscenity because i feel it is to their level. i deal with this day in and day out. they are fucking cows that only believe what they want to believe. it is a fucking miracle i have not yet hurt someone.

one day i will crack. and spray paint my car.

"fucking liberal scum"
"liberals, the way to go if you want to fuck up the nation" "liberals, no matter on what side you cook them, they are always raw" "Kerry, the fucking uncooked waffle" "eat shit and die liberal" "do not talk to me until you get an education you fucking liberal POS" "i hate you fucks"

public message brought to you by the asdf for a better America.

Damn Dom, I always knew you were a bit annoyed at liberals like me, but damn. I think you need to go revisit old habits and spark some of those BC Buds that should be so readily available down there in oreygun.

But seriously, the fast lane analogy is dead right. The driver's here in Denver really piss me off. The speed limit is always just enough for them, and usually its 5 under. They drive like a bunch of pussies, and when I get up behind those that are always driving 5 under on the high way, they almost always have a Kerry for 2004 sticker.

I don't see how people can drive 55, much less 50. I drive between 65-90 on the highway, under 65 is just unnecessary. BTW, the traffic here in Denver is I think #1 or #2 in the entire country. I know its worse then LA, and the reason is all these stupid people driving under the speed limit. ANYTHING under 5 over is just unexceptable.

in all due honesty, strange as this sounds as well, I agree with it a bit. There have been several events like this over the course of the Bush Administration (post-Iraq war) that have been exploited to their absolute fullest (and beyond) by the Administration, and that have seriously "detracted" (in the media's sense) from the more serious issues that were developing/happening at the time, especially to try and detract a bit off the war.

Even the Olympics are being used now in a Bush ad...what's next? The weather?

Most people in Denver just don't know how to drive. I've never come as close to road rage as I have in the few times I have driven in Denver. Fucking amazing - it's like being trapped on the highway with senior citizens.

Driving 5 under the limit on the highway would have gotten you shot in Texas. ;)

I think people over-reacted about the nip just a wee bit (sarcasm), but I also think that Janet Jackson has proven herself a delusional fool with her statements. The over-reaction, in this case, probably had more to do with the fact that most of the current administration are socially conservative religious loonies rather than them trying to draw attention from Iraq.

Just remember - a vote for Bush is a vote against boobies. :Naughty:

I'm not entirely sure where you got these numbers from, but I read an article in the Denver Post recently (like within the last 2-3 months) that said overall traffic in Denver had risen above even LA. Like I said, the article said we were number 1 or number 2 now, so I'm thinking these numbers are just a little outdated. It might have said we were RIGHT behind LA, but I know I remember we are #1 or #2.

Trust me, the traffic here alone has made me think strongly lately about moving somewhere else, anywhere else.

And krelm, the reason why traffic in Denver suxx so bad now is because of Californian's and Texans. ;) No offense to you, but Denver has become a variable hot spot, and is also VERY HIGH on the list of places everyone is moving too. And the majority of people moving to Denver are from California or Texas. I swear, I've driven here long enough to see the changes take place. 5-6 years ago, Denver was a great place to drive, people actually knew how, and drove civilly in Rain sleet or snow.

Now, all the texan's and Californian's have no frickin clue. They're utterly clueless. Sometimes, it begins to trickle and people start driving 5-10 under the speed limit. Even after a tiny bit of rain. And seeing people drive in the snow here is utterly amazing. You will see one stupid Texan who has never even seen snow, drive about 5 MPH even though there isn't too much snow, more like slush. And then you'll see a stupid Californian in his SUV who thinks hes invinsible driving 60 MPH and spin out right in front of you.

Nothing against Texan's or Californian's, just learn how to fricking drive in Colorado weather or get the hell out of my city or at the very least out of my way. ;)

It's the fucking Californians, dammit! :P

Texans (aside from Austinites, which are a whole different breed of bad driver) drive FAST and STUPID. It's 85 degrees and sunny - they are driving 80 mph. It's pouring like mad - they are driving 80 mph. "What's this funny white stuff all over the ground?" Fuck it - they are driving 80 mph. ;) Californians are probably responsible for the slowdown from driving too slow, but at least get the blame right - if the Texans are at fault, it's for causing all the fucking wrecks. :)

Fuck that - global warming is so much easier. Give us another 15 years with our excessively large pickup trucks, and this so-called "Colorado weather" will be just as hot as Texas weather. Why do you think all of our politicians are oil men? Then you won't have to worry about Californians and Texans getting freaked out from driving in the snow and fucking up Denver traffic.

October 2003 data.

but really, we're talking about the WORST traffic in the states. Does it really matter wether you're #1, 2, or 3? Pretty much, i'd say it sucks to be you any way you look at it.

#246465Post 18 of 22

Traffic is traffic. And it sucks anywhere.

#246503Post 19 of 22

It suxx most in Denver though. And yes I've been all over.

And krelm, most of my family are texans so I know how they drive there and I have to disagree. I do like how they all pull over on the shoulder though, so if they drive slower they move out of your frickin way.

The other thing is the cops, Texas cops patrol like no other, everytime I've been there I've escaped a ticket narrowly because of my trusty radar detecter. Regardless, some people just need to use public transportation.

Who can recommend a nice city I can live in that I can actually haul ass around town?? Relatively low traffic and such?? I need to get away from this city the more and more I think about it.

Ya, I don't think Montana will work. I have family in Billing's too. I need to be somewhere that the BC's are readily available, but I want to stay in America too. Damn the catch 22's.

Well. Oregon gets dank from all sides. And I mean it. Humb bud, Oregon bud, and BC bud and they are the diggity dank that get you trying to figure out what your next move is. A fucking Mecca for the true connoisseur. Portland ... is pretty people friendly and Liberal, you can laugh a lot at the politics and crazy absurd issues, but hey I love trees and water. So I think I am here to say. Plus, with Mt. Hood an hour and half away to the right, and to left the coast is also an hour and half, it's really nice.
