So I came across this article:

http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/meast/08/25/hezbollah.band.ap/index.html

It's about how this "boy band" in Lebanon that made a song praising Nasrallah, leader of Hezbollah. These guys are overnight celebrities over there now and people think their shit is hot.

Quote from the article:

" The lyrics consist of constant repetition of a few simple rhymes: "Hey, you, hawk of Lebanon. Hey, you, Nasrallah. Your men are from Hezbollah and victory is yours with God's help." "

:what

Rock on with your bad Hezbollah-lovin' selves!!! With lyrics like those, it's clear that those Lebanese youngsters know how to get the party started!!! :CandyPop:

:D

The clubs just moved from Beirut center to the hills. I'll see if I can scan it tomorrow and slam in into the thread.

I meant specifically the members of the band, not everyone in Lebanon. I do find the display of religious/national extremism fairly laughable, though (not to mention extremely dangerous)...I'm not a fan of the mixture of religion and politics that seems prevalent in a lot of the Middle East. But, as a secularly-minded person, I'm sure I'm biased.
