Gunmen attacked pilgrims at a Shiite religious gathering in Baghdad today, killing 20 and wounding more than 300 others, police and Iraqi health ministry officials said. Hundreds of thousands of pilgrims had crowded into six city neighborhoods when gunmen at street level and snipers in surrounding buildings opened fire, witnesses said.

Since there's a ban on vehicles in Baghdad I guess they just change tactics... If someone can tell me what this has to do with Jihad. Those fuckers better start reading the Qu'oran themselves instead of listening to their tripple flipped extremist imams.

That's just it - it doesn't have anything to do with Jihad, because the amount of violence caused by al Qaeda in Iraq right now is dwarfed by the garden-variety civil war that is going on. It is not muslims fighting against the christian infidels, it is muslims fighting one another (although different sects fighting).

The fighting that is going on has little to do with terrorism and much to do with the internal power struggle in Iraq.

My thoughts exactly. However, I think it's Al Qaeda tactics to throw some more oil on the fire. Big can o' worms...
