Here is a three part documentary called, "The Money Masters". Its a story of how international bankers gained control of America. Fast paced and information packed! You can watch it at google video by clicking on the following links:

SYNOPSYS: "The powers of financial capitalism had a far-reaching plan, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole...Their secret is that they have annexed from governments, monarchies, and republics the power to create the world's money..." Prof. Carroll Quigley, renowned, late Georgetown macro-historian (mentioned by former President Clinton in his first nomination acceptance speech), author of Tragedy & Hope: A History of the World in Our Time

Almost as easy as being antagonistic, cynical, and predictably snide.

Maybe you'll see a few points if you drop your superiority complex and insulting remarks?

What's really interesting for people to see here is that I never insulted you. I don't even know you (in real life or even on this website), YET you project your own insecurities and cynicism by being a total asshat to me.

Why? What's the matter? Why are you (and others like you) so bitter?

The way I presented my info "blows like elephant cock"? Care to present a better point, or are you gonna stick to childish name-calling? Ever heard the phrase "shit, or get off the pot"?

Seriously. Present some legitimate points and build a case because that will certainly be better than puking all over your keyboard again.

Well m?ksha, it might've come over as a personal attack, but it was just a little bit of hardcore provocation. And it seems that I succeeded making you putting a little more effort in what you post than you did before.

The reason why everyone is "so bitter" here is cuz we don't like sloganesk posts in the Politics Forum. Just read the other threads and you'll see that although we mostly don't come to a consensus, the members who post here respect alternative or conflicting points of view as long as they're well argumented or contain enough factual material. Just compare the Al Zarqawi thread here (thoughts and personal analysis) to the Al Zarqawi thread in General Yikkity Yak (100% ranting) (note: that's not a value judgement: not everyone feels like yapping on and on about politics and btw, ranting is fun as well).

So why do I think the way you've written your first post still blows elephant dick? Cuz you're trying to make a point which might be valid, but you fuck it up by going "Follow the money" 50 times or more. What's the added value of that? Nothing. You only lose your credibility and people won't feel like reading what you have to say.

As for the superiority complex... Ye well, it's lonely at the top, but at least the food is great

Is this post well argumented enough for you sir?

#651556Post 10 of 34

Re: FREEDOM TO FASCISM: Republicans, Democrats, Banks, Lies, Scams.
Is this post well argumented enough for you sir?
There's not much of a justification for being an asshole, though.

I posted "Follow The Money" "50 times" for added emphasis in order to allude to what the subject-matter will be instead of going on a page long political rant. It does it's job in a very simple manner.

There are much better ways of pointing out how I may lead people to not take me seriously than being an asshole. So, admit the fact that you came off as an abrasive cynic with a superiority complex (i.e. "yawn, old news").

Your first post speaks for itself.

You sir, must still be suffering from the bullying on the playground when you were 6. Superiority complex my ass.

What was your point on name calling again? Oh yeah right... Nevermind

Your reactions to the post the other MS members made speak for itself...

But yeah, no yeah, what do I know right? I'm just a member since before the transition in 2004. I don't know shit. Right, superiority complex once again my ass...

It is an interesting trailor, I think they are onto something, but as with all things like this, what can one person do? Refuse the national ID? Um, yeah-- good luck with that. We are basically fucked as far as I can tell. Vote independant. And let the Republicans win again? Sorry. All the movement towards facisim has been brought about by PNAC/Republicans. The Democrats may be disorganized and confused, but at least they aren't trying to take over the world. They are just trying to run and everyday corrupt goven't no different than what goes on the world over, make a little money here, get your cronies out of troube there. The PNAC fucks are on a whole other trip and need to be stopped before it is too late.
Congrats your cognitive functions are still intact bro.
You continue to make snide remarks like this one only to later claim that you don't wish to personally attack anyone.

See a problem with that? I mean, if you know that you tend to come off abrasive to people, then you may as well own up to the fact instead of projecting double-standards.

Just an observation

k, are we done with pissing each other off here? Kinky, I do agree with Möksha partially here since it's just not necessary to use terms like 'blows elephant dick' in a reaction - you said it way better later on :D

Möksha, Kinky had a valid point in telling you that your post will usually only generate some annoyment in this forum, see this one as the place where the serious folk come around. Unwritten rules do include providing proof for claims or links to info you post. I personally have no problem with your post, but some people could. But, let's not get sidetracked on hindsight here. The fact is that (s)he came off as a classic asshole. I called him/her out on it. (S)He realized that (s)he acted a fool, but doesn't have enough of a spine to simply say "sorry" and move on. Instead (s)he justifies the statements in his/her first post as "sarcasm" and suggests that that's how MS works (as if I'm a total noob to messageboard culture).

Check out the lovely specimen of PMs between us:

Either you accept that or you seek for a fight...

Eitherway, I think it's a good contribution to the forum (just pointing that out cuz I don't thik you got that point while protecting your ego ot whatever chip is on your shoulder)

cheers,

Jan
Well, the next time you don't want to attack someone personally, I would recommend not suggesting them to hug trees, rimjob hamsters, and other such things. Fair enough?

I have no chip on my shoulder, and that statement is pretty ironic coming from you because YOU are the one who jumped the gun and bashed me for no valid reason. So, ponder that for a bit.

I would've preferred it if you were civil to me in the first few posts, but I honestly don't care either way. This is a very miniscule part of my daily life. I'm not loosing any sleep over it.

Whatever man. You want a civil forum, go to the Republicans site. Sarcasm is common on MS.
I gave you more than once chance, but now you're just being a childish troll.

Sarcasm? It's hilarious how you're still trying to compensate for your asshole attitude by calling it sarcasm. Sorry, nobody's fooled. It's good to see your true colors, though.

Re: FREEDOM TO FASCISM: Republicans, Democrats, Banks, Lies, Scams.

^^dude, couple bits of friendly advice you might want to be aware of. One, there is a lot of sarcasm on this board, and the language tends to be quite a bit more coarse than what I've seen on other boards. All in good fun, though.

Two, reposting a private conversation into a public thread to essentially say, "Look, I told you he was an asshole," is a little pathetic, imo. When what is essentially a purely personal flame war breaks out, where there isn't any actual discussion related to the original topic of the thread, most people would probably prefer that you take it to PM. Why bring it back into the public forum? There are plenty of pretty heated discussions that are still of public interest. Whether or not you think someone is an asshole, and whether you can get others to agree with you, though, doesn't really fall into that category.

i am not gonna get into this. because i share some of russo's thoughts on the US political system. but aaron is seriously clueless when it comes to finance and finance law. for one, he wants to revert back to the gold system of a countries GDP. this system was abandoned in the 1800's..... im dead serious when i say that this propogandist, and he is a propogandist (he makes films), wants every bank in the 50 plus territories to send all the valueable metals to fort knox and have it audited......... he has zero idea of foreign debt, governmental debt to citizens, and national interest rates. i know this because i heard him speak at NYU during a conference. dont take everything aaron has to say at face value, he has wonderful ideas, but like rumsfeld, has no clue how to implement them.

Yeah, I got the same feeling from him. Although, I haven't heard him mention anything about regressing to the Gold standard or anything of the sort. In any case, I'm wondering what his proposed solution will be IF we ever become successful in changing the current system in our lifetime.

That "Money Masters" documentary really blew my mind with the in-depth informartion on it. The fact that it's a pretty old documentary makes it even scarier. None of the sources I cited suggest that we should get rid of money or anything of that sort. Their simple concern is the control of money by one single group of people. It doesn't take a genius to realize that such enormous power in the hands of a select few is bound to corrupt, and the videos show that it already has corrupted many.

The idea here is of reformation into a better functioning system. You're making very generalized assumptions about both parties by assuming that the people in control are educated and the people like greenpeace don't know anything about running a business.

I'm sure you can do better than simply writing off an entire web of complex problems by making generalized blanket statements. :) There's a great deal more at stake here, and it's the attitudes like "who cares?" or "let the smart people govern", or "the skeptics don't know shit", and other such blanket statements that've been one of the main reasons this has been going on for centuries.

I'm very open to hear facts and be educated. Otherwise, we're wasting each other's times playing word games with hollow assumptions, generalizations, sarcastic one-liners, and the usual message-board rhetoric.

Whether it be you have the biggest gun or the largest bank account, there will always be a reason for someone or a limited group to have power. That's what Sean is trying to say: not that we should get rid of money, but just the fact that you can't do anything about it. The hand that rocks the wallet is the hand that rocks the world.
The idea here is of reformation into a better functioning system. I'd LOVE to see Greenpeace activists run Exxon Mobile for a week.

By the way, if you have a better idea for a system, just shoot. I know I don't and I know I'm not looking for it either. Why? Even though the system is not perfect and there is a lot of abuse, it still provides food on the table for thousands of families. You shouldn't forget about that either.

Re: FREEDOM TO FASCISM: Republicans, Democrats, Banks, Lies, Scams.

moksha, i am aware you dont know who i am, and my ""former"" rough self was more for my entertainment, but .... i own a few businesses in some manner via investments and through the accounting firm i am a partner in. i have a masters in federal taxation and degrees in effciency managment, and accounting/business management. in my somewhat limited experience (little over 7 years) in the feilds i have seen that running anything on a large scale that funds itself and not through outside means, requires the most hardline stances and accountability, especially after the late clinton-esque business scandals within the US, which lead the to the complete revamp of the accounting and finance industries. (sarbanes oxeley). and frankly, if we are looking into the ""system"" it has undergone a monster growth period in the last 20+ years with only minimal interruption. the current way of doing things """behind the scenes""" has exponetially helped us, even in a time where the vast majority of US citizens and international bodies arent too thrilled with our current admin. also, this is all occuring in an era where the labor enforcement laws and collective bargining rules have essentially driven out every large scale manufacturing industry, i.e. auto, airline, shipbuilding, steel, clothing, etc. all these industries have jumped ship to remain profitable in other regions, funnelling less money into the american economy, yet it continues to grow, and at a rate that is particularly surprising considering the unemployment rates have been great outside of the small recession at the end of bill clinton and beginning of GW;s first term.

also... if we force a ""spread the wealth"" within the US banking sytem, you will begin to see a rapid increase and widening of the wealth gap. already, the invention of the ""mortgage brokerage"" houses where 19 year old kids sell high point, high interest loans to disadvantaged people and immigrant minorities, driving the people who were possibly stepping up into the middle class tier or into the higher levels of the middle class, right back into debt. IMHO, they need to force a consolidation of the quote/unquote banking industry into a far more reputable and accountable means.

lastly, any major change comes with fear. fear of the unknown, fear of the bad guy, or the few that will find a way to expose and exploit the system. when you begin to diversify anything with a large scale, economically driven idea, you begin to lose what it was designed for and it becomes......well i hate to say it... the clusterfuck that the more left leaning governmental representatives create when every little interest group gets a peice of the pie. and when serving pie, its best to let the chef do the cutting of the slices and handing out, or you will have 10 kids reaching thier hands into the pie tin and making a mess. also, giving the people who arent really versed in a certain area of expertise isnt a good thing. it is like me walking into an ER and jumping into open heart surgery. no, it absolutely cannot be done like that. if you wanted me to run something, give me a company or a charity and with my education and experience, ill be fine.
