Re: Bush planning nuclear strikes on Iran's nucleur sites?
Its worth remebering that having a nuclear power station is a long way off having a nuclear bomb. It always strikes me as hypocritical for nations with these facilities to tell other nations they cant have them. In the same way that european nations tell brazil not to chop the forest. We replaced ours with grazing land years ago.
The point is that Iran is on the path to have the ability to have a nuclear bomb. It isn't hypocritical to not want everyone armed with such a destructive weapon. To most people, it makes common sense. You probably would agree that it's not a good idea for everyone in the world to walk around with a gun or sidearm. Eventually someone will get shot. Plus, I don't hear the nations with nuclear bombs threatening others.

I love the press say he's becoming moderate because Israel's existence is a threat to Islamic countries vs. a hard line approach of we'll wipe you out.

Both of them sound very threatening to me. The press needs to quit giving these terrorist Islamic countries passes on their unacceptable behavior. Quit making excuses for evil fuckers.

You would think so, and I would think so, and most every person with more than a dozen functioning brain cells would think so, but Missouri passed a law not too long ago to allow people to carry concealed weapons around with them. Boy, do I feel like I live in a backward state at times. Thank God I've chosen one of the oases of rational thought to live in...

I don't think it's as far off as you're suggesting. I would welcome the input of someone that actually knows what the hell they're talking about on this point, but my understanding is that enriching uranium for power is a pretty complex process, but once you're that far along, you're basically one step away from enriching it for use in weapons.

Anyone have anything intelligent to offer on this?

Re: Bush planning nuclear strikes on Iran's nucleur sites?

yes i will do.

and its caustic remarks. but frank.

we need to simply kill him. plain and simple. use force to eliminate all these fucking cooks who are more than willing to send the next 20 year old into a mall with a bomb. we just need to eradicate hamas, this ass clown, the assholes in egypt who are attacking the coptics, the fucking morons in western india, and the taleban. and if citizens are backing them, kill them too.

only once these people are gone we will stand a chance. show them how nice freedom is and if they want to practice hard line islam, give them the freedom too but make it damn clear the world wont sit back and allow an idealology of violent and hostile takeover (read::french muslims) of the majority of the world.

in the end, violence is the only cure. not peace, cuz someone always wants power and they will fight for it. so you send a bigger dog into the fight and then put it back in its cage. you dont let the small dog run around biting ppl. this is only gonna get worse because the muslim world is still stuck in the dark ages of religion being the final word and they will die for it. i say let them. there are millions of muslims who are peaceful normal ppl who co exist perfectly.

PS i love isreal's reaction. they shelled the kids neighborhood. i like it. "" you come here to kill a few ppl, we will level not just your familes home, but your fucking neighborhood. so now, if you wanna bomb us, look at your friends and fmaily, cuz we going after them"""

Re: Bush planning nuclear strikes on Iran's nucleur sites?

if you dont think iran is going to either openly attack isreal or quietly support a ""insurgent attack"" you are a moron. right now captain fuckead is telling his scientists to ""hurry up and get the nukes ready so we have something hold off a major invasion after we attack isreal""

its gonna happen soon as long as he is in charge and countries like saudi arabia take our money and smile at us while they give millions to hard line groups who are out to force islam on the ""infidels""

That scenario is making more sense than Ahmadinejad launching a nuclear strike against Israel. He might be a hardliner, but he isn't a dumbass (don't forget the man is a professor at the civil engineering dept of the Iran University of Science and Technology).

If he's actually going for an invasion of Israel (and god knows what country will be next), he sure has a strong hand of cards: a large and motivated (read: religiously and nationalistically brainwashed) army, the blind support of the Iranian people, control over a significant percentage of the global oil production and thus the means to cripple our economy and last but not least near immunity against outside agression when he has nuclear warheads pointed at the US and the EU...

And what do we as "superior civilisation" have? Let's see... International organisations like the UN and NATO which are rendered ineffective due to a lack of unity, political leaders who in the best case have the support of half or their nation, the largest military in the world being wasted because of lies and false/incorrect information, a world leader saying indirectly it's ok to give international law and respect for human rights the finger (when Bush starts an illegal war and has people tortured and/or locked up without any proof, don't expect Ahmadinejad to respect the authority of the IAEA and the UN) and an entire economy which is hooked on oil harder than a junkie is hooked on heroin...

Looks like a pretty fucked up situation imo... And to think this could have been (maybe still can be) countered if Bush's Middle East policy would've been concentrated on getting the peace process between Israel and Palestinians back on track instead of being concentrated on destruction and agressive measures. Or if all Western governments would've had the balls to invest in alternative energy sources instead of sucking the dick of the oil lobby...

But there might be a bright side to all this. When I look at my personal life, I believe that shit always happens for a reason. Maybe we need a threat like Iran to get it through our thick skulls that despite all our technology and what not, we've hardly evolved as a species. Maybe this crisis will eventually force us to look in the mirror and will make us act a little more responsibly with regard to how we treat others and to how we use the natural resources of the planet.

And maybe pigs can fly and maybe the earth is flat...

One thing's for sure: the luxury of blaming the older generations for all the shit in the world is about to end as "our generation" is at the brink of crossing the line which marks the difference between being unable to influence the course of history and being held accountable for how the future will be shaped.

Food for thought...

Re: Bush planning nuclear strikes on Iran's nucleur sites?

Yes much has a reason, much fits in with all sorts of cyclus' we don't really see.

However i don't think the human race is improving much. In the 30thies Hitler told Jews should not deserve to live amongst proper Germans. It resulted in probably teh biggest ethnic cleansing ever. After that pretty much everyone in the western world said no-way that will never happen to us again. And they act like they won't be influenced anymore like the desperate jobless people during the big economical crisis in Germany.

But what i spot is that what happened 70 or more than 70 years ago is still quite common, but then in a milder upgraded version. In these days you can't tell anymore that one race is bad, you will be shot in public by the media. So you have to come up with something else...well how about subtle word combinations and using certain words always in the same story and same context. Hey that might work. And maybe we need to inform civilians a bit more than before about possible threats. And my god, it would be good to spread the word over to our European partners as well ....

Result a few years later: The retard part of our western civilisations pretty much combine terrorism with all muslims. The positive thing with how 21st century style racism is however that within the own country there's not that much gestapo-stuff going on since that would not be tolerated by the majority. But still the messages spread by Bush his administration ensure that he has found support for targeting a country that had ZERO to do with any of 9/11.

My point: the herd is still easy to influence. 70 years have gotten us not that much further.

Re: Bush planning nuclear strikes on Iran's nucleur sites?

but if you take that POV, right now, it is the Iranian pres, and hamas, and PLO, and saudi royal family, who are more comparable to hitler, since they are the ones calling for the end to jews, they ban non muslims from any islam based site, and have repeatedly called for death to isreal, funded outside groups to kill non muslims etc....

Re: Bush planning nuclear strikes on Iran's nucleur sites?

it won't be fixed unti lthe saudi's are out. They are the real problem. Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan are a good start but then it has to be the saudi's next. Clean house in the arab states.

Then you move to North Korea.. clean that out and now all that is left Laos and China. Thailand is an allie so use them to clean out Laos and then you have China surrounded. The only thing I worry about is Russia Trumping us..
