Re: brilliant

planet.

you had to see this one guy they had on i would guess about 1030AM here. he was harping on about how the big issues affect everyone and decided to make abortion, immigration and war the big things. are you telling me that these 3 items are what people use to determine to vote? if so, then the equal voting rights we have here in the states should be revoked and you should have to sit for testing to gain the right to vote. no one looks at a candidates voting history, no one tries to filter out words like those capitol hill idiots are sprewing such as, but not limited to ''fascism (this is the new buzzword), anti war, pro jobs, pro america, anti-abortion, pro life''

they are all retarded. no one wants to call a spade a spade, no one likes to look at harsh truths, no one wants to see if the ''oppositions'' ideas are viable. its just ''they are wrong, we are right'' like i said the other day, this guy harld ford jr, was a personal favorite of mine because of his candor, and his agressiveness.until the fateful day when don imus asked him about the connecticut campaign and he washed his hands of joe leiberman, and said he would endorse the democrat, even though he didnt even know the guys name. if you dont know someone's name, how do you what they are about? he could be donald rumsfeld filing his campaign under democrat for shits and giggles for all Ford knew.

Re: brilliant

As long as "the people" can watch tv, drive their cars, eat whenever they want, occasionally get laid, and have money in their pocket to buy their impulse junk, politicians are just gonna continue being career politicians and only out for advancing their own interests.

It is gonna take a mass social psychological change to move out the rot that is festering not just in the US's political system but most every other political body in the world.

And that is only going to happen when it hits 'the people" where it hurts the most. i.e. their wallets.

Re: brilliant

the laws of this country have made it 100% possible for people to never have to deal with the responsibilty and consequences of thier actions. the only ones who paid for thier actions were the auto unions, airline unions and the teachers here in NYC. all pushed for certain things they wanted but had no clue on what actually would happen. now the 320,000 jobs lost in the auto industry sit in asia and south america, europe makes all the planes used by civilian airliners, and the NYC school system is a laughing stock, its broke, the kids are stupid, and they are about to lay off another 200 employees because the raise that each person got forced them to downsize.

With regard to commercial aircraft, that's complete bullshit. I work for Boeing, I started out with the company actually building planes. I'm very familiar with where our parts come from and again, thats complete BS.
