Why is it that the same folks that clamor for strict construction of the Constitution in their judges are the same people that rely upon (fairly loose) interpretation of the Constitution to justify warrantless wiretaps?

they had a senator on the other day on imus and he bascially accused the opponents in congress of pointing a finger that bush is tapping his political opponetns to get dirt on them....
they should just release the names of the taps to the house and senate under lock and key for security to shut them up.
