Re: Questioning what happened on 9/11

this is the one topic that i hate, it realy pisses me off. lost some family and friends there, and i watched it happen from about 5 blocks away. these fucking people are just looking for thier time in the light, and another way to accuse the govt of wrongdoing. its like that one site that mike moore's puppyt used to post. what was his name?

Re: Questioning what happened on 9/11

You pissed because it doesn't fit your view on things?

He does say it's an hypothesis, nothing proven. Has a pretty strong point though i gotta say...

Re: Questioning what happened on 9/11

I just spoke to a BYU professor in civil engineering and who specializes in structures. He spent 2 hours with the guy explaining his flaws.

  1. He is a physics professor so he has nothing to do with civil engineering.

  2. The civil engineering department asked this guy and 3 other professors to write a paper refuting this guys theory.

  3. The civil engineering professor has already done studies, written papers, and made presentations proving that planes cause the WTC to go down.

This proves to be even more interesting... I'll keep you updated...

Re: Questioning what happened on 9/11

I've said it before, bomb sniffing dogs were removed from the towers 4 days prior to 9/11. No steel buildings in history have EVER collapsed. The towers were built to withstand a 727 impact.

Sightless, if you know that what you believe is the way it happened why not allow others to prove it for you. Let guys like this comb thru the evidence and have the necessary discussions since in the end they will only be disappointed, right?

I saw a special on discovery on the JFK shooting, they were able to conclude that it was only a 1 man shooter. Proved all the conspiracy theorists wrong. Why not do that here?

There are too many things about 9/11 that don't stack. Too many reputable, intellegent people saying the same. I'm all for an independant investigation.

Re: Questioning what happened on 9/11

This professor is one of my best friend's dad and he has a phd summum cum laude (sp) from berkley. He says he's already done quite a few structural studies of what has happened.

I'm still wondering why the govt hasnt allowed an independent investigation. But maybe this will help us get some answers we need.

Re: Questioning what happened on 9/11

they are just looking to get thier names out there. and i beleive it because i witnessed it. stood there watching realizing my friends were dying or dead. and family firemen were in there..............nothing exploded, the weight of the upper floors collapsed upon itself with the heat from fuel burning. once the first tower fell, it killed the foundation, which btw was shared by both buildings and left the second tower weaker...... if there were explosives, why did they not detonate in the fires or upon impact... i cant beleive im having the conversation again.... a year of funerals without burials was more than enough for me. fuck it im out. let em think what they want. worms/

Re: Questioning what happened on 9/11

I actually saw a special on Discovery with the designer of the building. Basically said what Sightless said. They also added that the blast from the plane coming in blew the protective coating off the beams which otherwise would have withstood the heat.

BUT having said that there are still too many questions that should be answered. The way in which the buildings fell by itself raises questions (exactly as it would have had it been a controlled demolition). Then you start adding in the other factors and the chances that it happened coincidentally just seems upsurd.

Re: Questioning what happened on 9/11

Yea, so now we got 2 opinions and IMO still 2 possibilities. Frankly, I do not think it will ever become clear which of the two is the right one. The only problem is, that with the info things like bomb sniffing dogs removed, the NORAD thing...I do believe in coïncidence, but when humans are involved there is a line I always draw. I think the truth will never be known, but I think this whole case stinks.

Re: Questioning what happened on 9/11

MAYBE WTC 7, but this threory is absurd in the case of the twin towers, and they obviously failed right where the big burning hole was created by the planes.

I think something is fishy about the official explaination of what happened that day, but not this much.

Re: Questioning what happened on 9/11

usually anything that can be use as evidence are left alone at the scene ..perfect examples are the metal structures that hold the building..they can check to see if any explosions were put there....even though you can see by watching videos that there was... anyways, too bad they were shipped to China with a quickness.
