On January 06, Bernanke will become perhaps the most powerful economic policy-maker in the world, the way Greenspan has worked over the last 18 years I don't see a reason why he should be replaced anytime soon.

Re: Goodbye Greenspan ???

I'll second that.

Things have been going ....pretty decent.....for quite some time.

When I initially heard they were choosing a new chairman, I thought Greenspan kicked the bucket.

I didnt think they'de replace him til he did!

Well....I guess its good he didnt, but hopefully our eceonomy wont kick the bucket. Markets went wild when they announced the change.

Re: Goodbye Greenspan ???

the guy's done what he could for nearly 20 years and has seen through more in the economy then anyone else before him.

I don't see Bernanke changing too much unless the circumstances warrant for the change.

Re: Goodbye Greenspan ???

Bernanke should be alot more outspoken though.

So hopefully everytime Bernanke farts...Wall Sreet won't have a hear attack.
