I think most Americans have thought this, but when you think about it rationally it doesn't make sense. You wouldn't actually kill the terrorists, but simply a site they consider holy. It wouldn't stop them from attacking us.

To add it would make attacks on us more probable and help recruitment for the terrorist orgs.
