Galloway has had dubious links with Sadaams regime for years - he's a revolting human being who cares soley about himself and his dodgy ideology.

His creation of a party called Respect before the UK election is an oxymoron - this man respect no one but himself.

Please dont view him as some knight charging against all that is evil - he's not.

No matter if he's an asshat or not Dave, it's a lame move to divert the attention form the allegations of fraud directed at some of the US senators themselves IMO. Let them deal with their own corrupt senators before pointing their finger overseas.

Nobody forced this vile excuse for a human being to travel to Washington and meet the Senators - I believe I'm right in saying that as a non US citizen he could not be compelled to take part.

So what was this mans motivation other than self publicity.

He does indeed have serious questions to answer about his relationship with Sadaams regime, as do one or two other UK politicians, but his reason for travelling to the US was nothing more than ensuring that his face appeared in as many publications as possible.

He hates everything the US stands for and saw this as a perfect opportunity to go an cause some havoc.

There is much i can say about him, but read for yourself and make up your own mind.

I've found this link which seems, on the face of it anyhow, as unbiased a view on this cretin as i could find.
