The Rise of Religion - Again

Not since the dark ages has there been more interest in religion and good vs. evil.

I have been noticing a trend that I believe is going to play a key role into the future of our landscape. I believe that with the positive media the new pope has been getting this is almost certainly a fact.

The power structures are setting the world up for a cleansing. The resurgence of debt prisons. The whiplash of the gay movement.

If you look on many sites now you will see stories of - exorcism, UFO sightings, debt and debt prisons, demons and demonic activity. These are all subliminal gestures that over time shape your brain into think about it, talking about it among st your inner circles.

I will bring this new info up in my next inner circle meeting for discussion.

Re: The Rise of Religion - Again

its all down to what you're born into, 2/3 of british teenagers said they didn't believe in god in a recent poll ( can't seem to find the story ) and Ireland is said to have a "worryingly" growing number of atheists

this is an interesting read Demographics of atheism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

what i hate about religion is that elders from each one indoctrinate young people into their religion before those people are old enough to know better, telling a child at 5 years old they'll burn in a fire if they are bad should be seen as child abuse but when its in the name of religion no one says nothing about it, this is very wrong imo... that child might grow into a non believer as they grow old enough to make their own life choices but by that time its too late because the seed has already been planted

Re: The Rise of Religion - Again

RM Hi,

You scuttle upon this forum once a blue moon - if that.

And the topics you raise a concern for, truly does amaze me. I really could not understand your message; were you implying Religion is in a rise with numbers, political accuracy and control, or media overhype (Pope)? And debt prisons - was that not eradicated 200-300 years ago pending your location?

To a certain degree I hold value to banned1's remarks on the rise of atheism but I do see this in primarily a western demographic. Eastern and minor countries well they still hold a strong view Religion. It is hard to say that Religion as a whole could be as a rise.

Whose landscape? And why are you writing with the tone of a cult leader?

RM your post reminds me of the many times I've asked you if you are simply copying and pasting posts you've made in other forums . Forums that clearly contain extremely paranoid members I might add.

Re: good vs evil....

Anyone else stunned by the images of the pure white innocent doves being released in the name of peace after the pope's "Angelus Prayer" in St Peter's Square, Vatican City, then within seconds being attacked by two dark predatory birds (black crow and black tipped gull)? The spiritual symbolism kind of unmistakable or no? I felt shocked by the pics/story. (btw: I'm not Catholic)

I wouldn't use anything in Metro in any sort of debate, it's full of the most badly researched, lying offensive shit you will find on the internet. Their article about the school kids being forced to go to a Muslim religious cultural exhibition was just pure class.

At first I thought there might be something to this but after reading that white doves don't exist in the wild, it's less of a shock: Why The Pope's Peace Doves Were Attacked - Business Insider

Re: The Rise of Religion - Again

^Interesting practical view. Thanks!!! But within seconds, in the middle of a city (not out in the wild), amidst a crowd of people? Dumb birds alright. I hope he stops this practice. The fate of white doves in general, as a live symbol of peace (& Jesus) since biblical times doesn't look good regardless. I read no one knew if these two got away alive or not. :(

Re: The Rise of Religion - Again

Yes I agree with Kiwi. it was very strange and people in power would see that symbolism as a sign.

Re: The Rise of Religion - Again

People in power?

#1709029Post 15 of 18

Re: The Rise of Religion - Again

Again a complete rhetoric to your statement RM. Religion is on the rise but people in power would see a white dove being attacked by a black bird symbolising what exactly? That religion is being tormented by atheists in power or science in general?

Re: The Rise of Religion - Again

Why not pull out the race cards and state that neo-liberalsim of white people is being attacked by non-traditional anglos? Seriously...
