This situation is becoming worse by the minute, it seems. So, the U.S. govt. is now going to arm the rebels & Russia is backing Bashar.

Re: Syria
The rebels are cannibals who eat their enemies, shows the mindset of this evil administration.

Seems eerily familiar doesn't it? US/Russia/Afghan rebels/1970s? Gee that worked out well.

Re: Syria
Catastrophic.
Re: Syria
Who comes to power if Assad is toppled? There are many numerous factions, not all share common interests.
Too hard/expensive basket for the west it seems...odd and uneasy feeling as less than a decade ago the west would have been jumping at an opportunity lime this to get involved.
Remember 1429 just died of what appears to be a clear use of force via chemical weapons (same as wmd)?
Iraq was invaded on far less evidence...basically non existant evidence.
The current younger generations in the west will be paying the price for the last 50-60 years of scandalous foreign policies amongst other issues.
Mind the tangent. Far too much morning coffee

It's gonna be Egypt all over again. The lands of dictator-ship will never be swept by the winds of democracy. The concept of freedom is nearly manic...
Re: Syria
Again, western leaders seem determined to act against the wishes of their people and without authority from the UN, to keep us safe from "dictators". The irony would be funny, were it not for all the dead bodies. :(

And if this officer were to carry out the murder, rape of woman and children, simply because he was ordered to, you'd be 'OK' with that? What a true patriot you are.
