the NATO missions are not --- despite how grim our coalitions, alliances and treaties have become. it's utterly tragic and unfortunate, indeed... (though certainly not a crime against humanity)... but it is a response to terrorism and not a terrorist act itself. it is going to be bad either way.

The US is causing it of course.. By horizon I mean a long time (I hope). But it will happen.
The US has been fucking with Pakistan for the last few months. That forced China to say that any attack that happened on Pakistan would be considered an attack on China. This obviously angered the Indians because they want to nuke Pakistan. Thus instantly making China and India enemies.
It also makes sense because they both have the largest population centers. The hippies (Earthers, Greenies, Environmentalists) will like it because billions will die in the war causing the earths population to go down dramatically.

I definitely agree on a resources war between the two largest populated countries. I mean 2 billion hungry mouths to feed each, that shit can't happen overnight.
The political ties I thought were just military relations. You know here's a few billion USD go make some bombs. "Quid pro Quo" But in a way it's making sense that we have China and Pakistan in one corner and India and USA in the other.

yup. u guys got it. this is a marshalling of sides to a potentially very scary scene. pakistan and india have been at each others throats for a long-time. they are now escalating this to a global level with china and us being involved.
