I have the etched 12" of The Chems, beautiful, but the version that the big boys are playing is different, it has chanting at the beginning.

I dunno about the 12" but the promo is 11min58! and it indeed has chanting at the beginning. So it's possible they edited it for the vinyl?

The vinyl is 11.57, but no chantings! I do tend to imagine stuff, but I've heard it played by Sasha, Nick and now Jody with that intro, while the 12" starts with the EL&P-style synth..
