The one thing I liked about Paul Van Dyk, at his night in Berlin he used to open the night and close it with the guest DJ (used to be Sander, Seaman, Warren etc) playing the middle. I always felt this was a really great concept. A warm up set by a world class DJ is always worth seeing

Oh i can't really imagine Nick or Dave playing at ~126-8 and Paul Van Dyk in the middle his typical 140. This just doesn't sound compatible to me.

I'm guessing Paul Van Dyk didn't open playing a typical 140 bpm. It is the concept I like not the DJ. It gives the guest DJ the right environment to play a nice set without having to warm up the room or close the night and if done well can make for a good night. I'm guessing some of the DJ's liked it to. Nick Warren mentions it in his Brazil Travelodge
Re: Nick Warren Australian Tour Mix
so anybody have a real tracklist?

If you have the right audience with widespectral musical taste, it might work. But for a typical trancer, anything below 135 is just slow. That's what i like about house (and modern techno) - the energy doesn't come from bpm.

Must be some weird Trance & Trance Fan's where you come from.

I agree. There's a lot of weird things in my country, like 90% of top house djs who never played here, because people and promoters like either hard techno or cheap trance (or much worser "dance music"). Very frustrating for me.
Re: Nick Warren Australian Tour Mix
Just got this from Mediafire which explains the problems we had over the weekend I guess!!
Hi everyone,
Starting Saturday April 25th at 12:00pm CST MediaFire came under attack by a large Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack that denied services for some customers. The DDoS attack is utilizing over 40,000 separate computers continuously sending valid requests to MediaFire's servers in an attempt to overload our systems. We have been able to mitigate the attack without any lasting damage but the attack is still ongoing. There was no data loss or lasting disruption to the MediaFire free or Pro services. Thanks again to everyone who submitted support tickets notifying us of the issue and for your patience while we deal with this ongoing attack.
Re: Nick Warren Australian Tour Mix
This one sounds more like a studio mix to me...aka promotional mix for the recent Australian tour. :)
Re: Nick Warren Australian Tour Mix
He said it was a mix he put together while touring Australia, so it's more than likely a studio mix. Impressive that he found the time, and a nice touch.
Re: Nick Warren Australian Tour Mix
^^^ I thought it was a nice touch as well !! Probably did it on his laptop in planes !! I'm very grateful !! :D
