Found this in a box of old mixtapes that's been lent to me. Recorded live around 1997 judging by the tracklist but no indication where. I think it is Nick but I'd appreciate other opinions.

It certainly looks genuine enough and had a few of Nick's trademark tracks on it. Its nice to see someone upload something rather than just copy & paste from soundcloud.

He's the only one I know who used that Mortal Coil vs Chicane bootleg/layering (and did it on multiple occasions...I always thought it sounded a little tonally off myself). He loves [URL="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=1405"]Leftfield[/URL], so that's another standard bearer. Also, WOW's own "Driveby" wasn't a track that commonly made appearances (1997 was its year of release) either, so if there would have been anyone who played it, he's one of the most likely candidates.

Great post! I agree about Song To The Siren, great concept but musically forced.

#14 is actually [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=451"]Way Out West[/url]'s "Blue" (Club Mix), which has a lot in common structurally with "Drive By" until the melodious piano-laden breakdown in the former hits. ;)

I first heard that tune out at a local Dallas club and it was the single most bombastic tune of the night. This was before my WOW ho-dom had fully taken hold.
