Watched this last night and was pleasantly surprised. This is easily the best role Matthew McConaughey ever did. . .well the only good role to be precise. The plot was better than expected...the direction was better than expected. This is a surprisingly watch-able film...

Very good film. I was inspired to watch it as I have started reading Michael Connelly (who wrote the book) this past year and I enjoy his stories.

The film stayed true to the book which was good to see.

Really good movie. Finally Matthew plays a role where he keeps his shirt on and actually acts.
