I never realized there was a business knocking off blockbuster movies. Is this underbelly to Hollywood actually considered profitable? Went over to imdb and it said Mac and Me grossed almost $6.5 million. The movie came out in 1988 and ticket prices were just over $4. Amazingly, they actually sold close to 1.5 million tickets.
