Great movie. Some of the best shoot-outs in movie history. :)

See Hard Boiled and The Killer - John Woo's last two hong kong flicks before heading to Hollywood. They are still the most incredible peices of mayhem I've ever seen, and they put Boondock Saints to shame.

But then again, I hated Boondock Saints.

Re: question on boondock saints

This is probably my most favorite movie of the past couple of years. The end got a little corny, but I love the diagloge and characters. Every time I watch it, I find it more and more funny.

There's been talk of this for a while now. Does anybody know if there is an ETA for the sequel?

Re: question on boondock saints

Ok this is bringing the thread back from the dead, but damn this movie was the shit! I'm sooooo dissappointed in myself for not seeing this until like a week ago.

Re: question on boondock saints

the sequel wasn't half bad, at least for a sequel.

Re: question on boondock saints

the original film was alright and I enjoyed it. however the sequel was just over the top. it took duffy forever to get the second installment made.

troy duffy's ego went off the charts after the original. he belived his syndicate would take over hollywood. I highly recommend the documentary about him just to get an idea of how much of a prick this guy was.

Overnight is the documentary and it's fucking amazing - the balls and the gall that Troy Duffy exhibits is beyond belief. It didn't help that he believed every bit of hype being thrown his way (including that he actually believed he was the next Quentin Tarantino).

From Boondock Saints to believing you are the next Tarantino...then to ultimate insult of the Facebook page...GIVE TROY DUFFY A DOLLAR SO THAT HE CAN MAKE BOONDOCK SAINTS 2 LOL

That and he had the idea that it was okay to mock and fuck with Harvey Wienstien, the guy who gave him the opportunity in the first place.

It was unbelievable the amount of talent that was lining up to have a part in Boondock Saints before it got made, and then Duffy pissed it all away with his ego and belief that he was better than everyone else in the game.

He's still pretty much a leper in Hollywood - I'm blown away that someone put money into making Boondock Saints 2.
