So I read that Ron Howard has signed to direct the movie and it looks like Russell Crowe will play Robert Langdon.

Kate Beckinsdale is also rumored to play in the movie as Sophie. I'd rather see Angelie Jolie play that part. :Naughty:

IMO i would def. have Anthony Hopkins play the part of Teabing.

I need to pick up the book. Many people I know said it was a good read, so I guess I'll check it out before the movie goes to production.

Mmm...should be an interesting movie. I hope they do justice to the book.

I'd like to see marilyn manson play the albino monk.

Ach, Russel Crowe?!? Definitely NOT a person who comes to mind as a Harvard Antiquity professor/swimmer. Hugh Jackman would be a better choice IMO.

Russel Crowe was awesome in A Beutiful Mind. I could totally see him nail this role. As I was reading the book, all I could think about was how awesome of a movie it would make. Glad to see this coming to fruition!

I'd rather see another Aussie who's a better actor then either one of those....Guy Pearce.

See L.A. Confidential to see what I mean.

Cool. Kate Beckinsale. I think she is a good choice personally. And I agree with Pam, Russel Crow can also pull off his role. Great casting, should be a good flick then, as thats the most important thing IMO.

Another quality post from the :Spam: king.

Haven't read the book yet, but from everyone going off about it I might just have to go pick it up. If possible I like to read the book before I see movies. Russel Crow is solid. And what else is there to say about Kate Beckinsale. :Naughty:
