Just watched this last night. Good movie, great special effects... total piece of eye candy.

1 robot for every 5 people roaming the streets + will smith playing a cop that hates robots = decent movie :Bingo: :Bingo:

It definetely wasn't bad. I liked how the wheels on the vehicles moved in 3D, making them much more capable at very high speed. I want one of those

This was a vehicle for product placement... Vintage Converse shoes circa 2004? sooo cheesey!!

I, Robot .... more like I, Rubbish or maybe I, Retardo

... or I, Wasted my Time & Money

I saw this 2 nights ago. I thought it wasn't that bad, but yet again wasn't the greatest movies I've seen. Didn't feel like it was a waste of time either. The effects made the movie worth seeing. Some parts did seem a little cheesey though.

Re: I, Robot

Its a new look on robots, versus just being machine like. Better movie than I had thought it would have been.

Re: I, Robot

i went in not really know the whole plot & put off seeing it cause will smiths other ventures werent great... this movie turned out to being awsome. they dont make movies often enough to make you think.

#364610Post 18 of 22

Will Smith is his own character, just about anyone else would have been better. The whole story is silly, but little things annoyed me like his mechanical/cyber arm. There is no way in hell that he could rely on that arm to sustain the force or strength it did in the movie. It's still connected to his human flesh and blood body, it would rip him to pieces the first time he would try to exert the type of unbelievable pressures he did in the movie, dumb stuff like that kills me. But, yeah eye candy is great!! :Naughty:

was really good and def. good special effects. i saw it once at the movies and have been wanting to see it again.

^that's the key to enjoying this movie^

It's great as a summertime hollywood popcorn special effects movie. Cool graphics, some punchy humor, and just enough story to hold it all together.

(I have to confess I love these machines take over stories eg Terminator, Matrix, etc)

will this be the future?

I think so. The only posible chance we have is if the robots and the clones fight it out to the death and in so doing save mankind. :D
