This is the story of Uxbal (Javier Bardem). Devoted father. Tormented lover. Mystified son. Underground businessman. Friend of the disposed. Ghost seeker. Spiritual sensitive. A survivor at the invisible margins in today's Barcelona ... Uxbal's story is simple: just one of the complex realities that we all live in today.
Trailer at the link above.

New film from Alejandro González Iñárritu with Javier Barderm. This is probably going to be quite good, def on the list to watch.

The US trailer is out on apples site now:

I have to say this one totally sucks compared to the one above. It is totally missing the awesome narration and music in the above trailer. WTF? Dumbing down crap for American audiences again? Also this doesn't come out until the end of Dec either. :(

Re: Biutiful (2010)

This finally came out here this weekend, I thought it was going to come out around Christmas. Good film, Bardem was very good, very depressing look at illegal immigrants in Spain. Very depressing but Bardem did a great job like normal, he is one of the best actors working right now IMO.

Also Shudder/King of Snake comes in very abruptly during a key part of the film. It starts from the beginning of the tune and continues for a good bit when Bardem goes to a nightclub, that was pretty cool.

7/10.
