Re: Let The Right One In

Yes this is a great atmospheric flick with a nice twist on the vampire theme. Good movie.

Re: Let The Right One In

It's nice to see alternatives to the Twilight bullshit. This and Thirst were two of my favorite films I saw last year.

It's a shame that they're already working on a remake. No need for one yet.

Some sources even say that the remake is better....

Re: Let The Right One In

Yeah, I'm actually pretty surprised to say that the remake is actually really, really good, and manages to distinguish itself nicely from the original. I wasn't expecting much, even if I did think the guy who directed this (he directed Cloverfield) had promise and talent - I thought this was going to be a very poor choice to follow up a really amazing vampire movie.

Re: Let The Right One In

that trailer looked mighty wicked (but so do most of the shitty ones too). loved the original, would defo be curious to watch the outcome of this one.

Re: Let The Right One In

I watched the US remake last night! It was basically a copy & paste job. It was exactly the same movie shot with different actors and in English. They didn't deviate from the script, the camera angles or anything. I suppose if you hadn't seen the original you mite love it.
