A list of movies that I am really looking forward to catching this summer - go ahead and list yours as well. 8)

(FYI - no bashing allowed... there will be plenty of chick flicks on my list as we go along..lol)

Needless to say that I love Leonardo.. I also do love the idea of messing about with dreams... kinda like Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind with a sci-fi twist... this is right up my alley.

2. [B][COLOR=Green]The Last Airbender[/COLOR][/B]

From one of my favourite directors - M. Night Shyamalan - this is a must see for me.

3. [COLOR=Green][B]Robin Hood [/B] [/COLOR] Swashbuckling heroes are always on the list. I'm hoping for the a 'Braveheart' feel to this movie.. rather than the veins of the typical story line.

4. [COLOR=Green][B]Prince of Persia - Sands of Time[/B][/COLOR]

Special effects galore... this will be pure eye-candy.

Yet another Russian spy movie, sure go ahead, bring it on.

I am a sucker for Pixar :oops:

I wish they wouldn't stop...always a riot. I think I'll catch this one in 3D

This one earned a Oscar Nomination for Best Foreign Language Film.

That's next summer

Apart from Inception, the Banksy documentary Exit Through The Gift Shop and Splice, most of the rest of the summer doesn't look all that great. A couple of brain candy movies here and there (ie. The Expendibles, Salt, The Other Guys, Predators), but not much is grabbing me.

I gotta say that Inception is the top of my list for films coming out this summer, that is the only flick besides Machete I'm looking forward to watching in the theater. DeCaprio and Christopher Nolan and that trailer look like a big winner for me. Yeah you are right about Super 8, a years wait. :(
