There has been a huge amount of hype around this in the UK but guess that it's not out until next week in the US.

Probably the most enjoyable film I've seen for a while, anyway.

Saw the advance screening tonight, and while I really liked it, there's going to be some that are not going to dig it for the fact that it's not your traditional superhero flick (which was part of the reason I dug it so much).

Also, for a movie where the characters don't have any superpowers, Hit Girl has a very Kill Bill/The Bride action vibe that is a [i]bit[/i] jarring with the realism that the film is trying to embrace in order to set itself apart from the other superhero flicks.
