If you like Bill Murray then you will like this movie. I think hes great despite some of his recent flicks. The movie was hilarious, but sort of stupid humor. Some scenes seemed sort of out of place, esp the sea life is all cg. When you see it you'll know what im tlaking about. Besides that Bill Murray is his old asshole-ish self which is great..

The movie was so so though, i recomend seeing it only if you are a bill murray fan.

what do you mean despite his recent flicks? lost in translation? royal tenenbaums? he has been on fire imo I'd say groundhog day and what about bob were his shitty flicks

I cannot wait to see this movie. Owen Wilson and Bill Murray is a 1-2 knockout.

thanks for the review you are the first one I've heard have anything to say about it..... doesn't open here till christmas

always been a fan of bill murray. i really liked lost in translation. would have been 10 times better had scarlett let her mammories run free. :NotMe: look forward to this flick as well. :D

I saw this today, I thought it was OK. It was mostly quiet in the theater not to much laughter even on a great fun day like Christmas. Most people muttered it was a waste of time or just felt bad they saw this film and not something else.

I would not recommend it for most people, I recommend you be a die-hard Bill Murry fan who looks for unusual comedys and different film experiences like Lost in Translation.

You will see a few funny moments but overall I won't be looking for this video when it comes out at the video store. Nor will I recommend it to my co-workers at work who express an interest in seeing it.

I was planning on seeing the Aviator but it sold out so I was stuck with this movie, not too good but I felt like I was the only person in the theater getting the jokes.

:?

[/quote] Everybody's probably pissed that there isn't a new 3-hour Lord of the Rings out this year. Seems like a lot of families go to the movies at the end of the night because it's a way to "be with the family" without having to talk to that sonofabitch that won't shut up about his life. From my experiences (not with my family, but everybody I know) it seems like nobody's ever happy by the end of the night, and they just want to sit for a few hours and watch.

As a HUGE wes anderson and bill murray fan, I thought "life aquatic" was great. I really loved the bowie songs sung in portuguese. that could've been my favorite part. I'd recommend the soundtrack.

I LOVED Rushmore... amazing movie. And the Royal T's was also a superb movie. Compared to those two, the Life Aq. was a pretty big dissappointment. To me, it seemed a little too forced.

But could you appreciate what he was doing in this film at least? or did you just hate it?

I guess I do appreciate the effort wes anderson made to try do something different. And there were a few special moments in the movie, though few and far between, that I really enjoyed. I went in with very high expecations though, and I think that is why I felt the movie was a let down.

i love murray, great actor, but owen wilson licks buffalo balls. along with his pal stiller, they always play the same characters, just with different names. the only time i ever laughed at either ben stiller or owen wilson was in happy gilmore when stiller played the evil male nurse. ' but bill murray is a genious. he deserves a lifetime award for being consistently funny, a great actor and playing many diverse roles.
