I'm bombing the house this week so I think I'll give this one a go. At least the special effects should be good on the big screen.

i saw it. the special FX were dope, and the overall movie was not bad. if you waltz in to see it -- with preconceived notions that it's apocalyptic crap -- you will have failed. pretty entertaining flick, but the acting was average.

[SPOILER]nice touch with the llama and the ships, and it was really fun watching vegas, and california sink into the ground[/SPOILER] :)

Tempted to watch at home but then if special effects is all it is.. might ruin the experience no?

Going to see it today..expect nothing but a Popcorn movie and it can't be worse than Indepence Day. President flying a F15 and attacking the enemies on his own wtf. :lol:

It wasn't Emmerich's worst movie but still not a good one lol. It got me entertained in places so I will give him this.

I have seen the movie!! The picturization is awesome...The way they have seen all the scenes are really great.....I was thinking at the movie time what will we all fill when It happens in real.

....well nicely shot and awesome fx but story is yet seen so many times. Bit disapointed!
