I personally think that this movie goes in the same line as "Dr. strangelove " is that kind of subversive sick humor that kubrick used many years ago that tarantino is using but in a more gory way .

IB is a kick ass movie , the intensity level that it can reach just by having 2 persons talking to each other sitting at a table is unreal , tarantino really hit it off the field on this one . The gory scenes of this movie are hysterical , just like taxi driver, funny shit !

btw I find taxi driver one of the funniest movies ever made . :D

I mean only a person that hasn't seen the film would immediately make the statement you're making - especially since that's only maybe a 1/3rd of the film.
