has anyone actually seen this?

watched it last night w/ the missus. this a weird story. true, but fucked up. based on gatien, alig, st.james. and DJ keoki. about the whole party people thingy. quite weird quite wierd.

pretty good acting from a few. seth green and caulkin were decent leads and the great shot of chloe svegnie's ass was well worth staying awake for it.

It's an alright movie... you should watch the American Justice story or the Party Monster documentary.

BTW, I love your avatar pic.

i just found it wierd b/c we used to throw raves in CONN and massachusettes and keoki would play all the time, i knew most of the story from talking to him, but if some of this is true, i learned a few new things.

I only saw the movie once yet I remember getting a feel it was based on a true story. For one thing Alig is gay and he's portrayed as bisexual in the movie. There were some other things in the movie and it seemed all sugarcoated to me.

Try looking for the American Justice episode on Alig. It's called Dancing, Drugs & Murder.

Keoki I hear is gonna do a Party Monster tour...

the real docu film about it was crazy.. you saw a lot more real footage but most of the events in the hollywood movie were done fairly well for a remake.

Re: party monster

it was an ok movie for seeing once, but don't care seeing it again. i read that book clubland which is pretty much the same as the movie on a trip somewhere this year.
