Re: Gangland
I watch almost every episode when I can. Really good, documentary style narrative with a lot of interviews with disguised informants and current gang members. Very raw, and often with graphic crime scene footage. A must watch.
Two episodes stood out for me..
Re: Gangland
^^agreed excellent programming. my gang lingo and ability to throw up random gang signs has increased 10 fold.
Re: Gangland
It's actually good to know which parts of the country are bad. This show tells you the history behind each gang and their location.
Re: Gangland
i like this show alot, but the editing style gets on my nerves a bit. they use that same damn sound effect about 1500 times a show and cut around alot, and why are all the gang dudes eyes blacked out all the time?
but the content and interviews are great. the one about cabrini green in chicago was pretty damn crazy!
Re: Gangland
^that's actually the reason I started this thread, I watched one episode that seemed to have some good content, but the editing was impossible for me to tolerate much more of, won't watch this show again if that's how every episode is.
Re: Gangland
yeah every episode is just like the one you watched. it is annoying. this is really the only show i think ive watched that the editing i actually notice because it is annoying
Re: Gangland
This is a great History Channel Program. I have caught most episodes and it is always entertaining, informative and frequently shocking.
Re: Gangland
It's a great show but agree with the editing comments and it's way to repetitive. Still DVR it every week though.
Re: Gangland
^exactly. i also still watch it too.
