superbad, pineapple express, step brothers, my best friends girl and either tropic thunder or burn after reading. These were all much funnier than role models imo.

ok...we have very different taste in movies StepBrothers was very funny and pineapple express was nearly as funny the rest were average at best. p.s. tropic thunder is one of the worst films I have ever seen almost as bad as "Pink Cadillac" lol

No I thought Tropic Thunder was crappy too which is why I added "burn after reading" for a total of 6 movies. However, subtract Superbad (2007) & Tropic Thunder and I guess I can only name 4 movies that are funnier. :lol:
I did think it had a few funny parts, I like the counselor who always tries to call them out on bullshit, that is really funny...and I think the black kid did a good job and all of the Old English talk was funny too, ok I guess it was pretty funny.:lol:
Besides, some comedies have to be watched a couple of times for the humor to really gel, same with cd's or any art. I'll give it another watch when it hits DVD.

Role Models was awesome. Thought it was one of the funnier movies of 2008. I'll probably watch pineapple express tomorrow. They all have their own unique humor, especially Burn After Reading.

IMO I think Burn After Reading worked as a vehicle for the characters the Coen Brothers created, and the dialog; but overall the story could've been better.
