Does anyone ever die and stay dead in American TV programmes. Lost, Prison Break, Heroes and now 24 all seem to keep bringing back characters from the dead over and over again. By the end of the last series I was wishing they would kill Jack and end the series. Then again they would only bring him back again.

yes.....been waiting for this for a year and a half. jack is back woo. new season is off to a decent start sofar, even though i dont like the new chick they have as president, kind of bleh.

it's how they sucker people into the shows, just business as usual. i like the above mentioned shows for other reasons verily, but what happens when you take the main character and or flagship protagonist out of the show? it's a story essential and fundamental. by the way, they have killed off a ton of major characters in 24, over the past seasons.

i'm so stoked for this monday evening, i've been posting 24 animated gifs in the nonsense thread all week lol.

my fav season i think was the 4th or 5th, cant remember which, which had habib marwan as the baddie, the guy from the mummy. he was great.

I am of the opinion that the new season of the 24 has been SUPERB! Jack TRULY gets shit done...

Bump this to the top. Tonight's two hour episode was the best of the season. The season has been good, but tonight's episode was great. 24 got me on the edge of my seat again and we got exposed to a new & interesting villain.

This new season continues to impress me and last night's two hour special was no exception. Can Jack save the President? Can't wait for next week!

That 2 hr episode was huge alright. I'm thoroughly enjoying the content, and how they are conducting this season as well as it's overal build at this point. Sprague Grayden (she did well in Sons of Anarchy btw.) is right on for Oliva Taylor, and Jon Voight as the next probable hierarchal nemisis? ... lol nuts.

I think Aaron Pierce, Renee, Jack, Bill, and Tony are gonna pull off some covert shit next episode. (?)

Didn't they do the safe room sketch a few hours earlier. Seems to me its turned into Under Siege with Steven SeaGull or Die Hard. I think its time they put some time travel in the series.

lol that would be fun, and ya it's all a bit far fetched -- if watched in a cynical and critical way. but damn, it's so entertaining too; really enjoying the plot/character synthesis in this season. can't wait for this monday evenings marathon to commence.

^ kinda. it's slowed down a bit -- but it's still an awesome season. this twist with olivia taylor is really drawing out like a blade; i bet it will just blow up next week tho!

A great season, but after last night it almost feels like that the show is dragging too long. However, I'll hold that until next week's season finale. I hope it leads us into Season 8. And let's hope Bauer aka Sutherland doesn't go to jail for his most recent arrest.

Yep it does look like by next episode the proverbial shit is going to hit the fan. Looks like Kim Bauer is going to be in on the stretch run the finale as well. To that point how many times have terrorists used Jack's family to break their cohorts out of custody? I love the twist, but COME ON think of something new!

Season's Final show tonight. DVD and BD for the entire season will be in stores tomorrow. Never seen that quick of a turnaround to DVD before. Great news for you'll who wait for the DVD's.
