Yikes took me long enough to get to the movies to go see this..(ladder 49) Been firefighter for about 7 years and everyone was telling me to go and see it... Well as for the fire house humor...it was right on...But i would have to say...if the serotonin levels are running low dont do it!!! One of the most depressing movies i've ever saw!!! UGH!!! :cry:

Sad movie I have to admit after this movie I started getting an interest on becoming a firefighter.

Def wasn't a fan of this.. I rented it via Netflix and got through about half of it before I gave up on the flick..... One of these days I might watch the other half. Nothing beats Backdraft

one word.... GHEY.... if you're a depressed middle aged housewife looking for more depression, turn this crap on.... was so disappointed seeing Joaquin Pheonix in such a cheesball role

yeah this movie was distinctly average for me... not "bad" but, not "good" either
