Yeah it'll be tough to not have her in it, but it wouldn't make sense with the storyline to have her in it.

Rhona Mitra isn't a replacement she plays a completely different character than Kate Beckensale did, rise of the lycans focuses on the orgins of some characters like lucian and showing the events leading to the Vampire-Lycan war.

Rhona plays as Sonja, Kates character is Selene. Just a spoiler too the film ends with the opening scene of the first [I]Underworld[/I], with the audio from the scene where [URL="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kraven_%28Underworld%29"]Kraven[/URL] tells [URL="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selene_%28Underworld%29"]Selene[/URL] that it was Viktor who murdered her family, rather than the Lycans. That Viktor spared her because she reminded him of Sonja, the daughter he condemned to death. The last word is played over the shot of her eyes: "Lies."

I hear that Res. I'm guessing the first two films made people have genuine interest in Rise of the Lycans. Honestly this film blew ass. I thoroughly enjoyed the first two installments of the trilogy, but this one was HORRIBLE :(

I enjoyed it. wasnt know where near the first one. but it was a good prequil
