latest movie i saw... dont really have much to say but the fact that it was quite humorous and that i really enjoyed it.... revolves around existentialism which is a topic not touched upon in a while... brings you back to the movies of the 60s / 70s with its topics... as much as mark wahlberg was hated by me before he stood out here... but really an overall weird movie with a good vibe to it... thumbs up i suppose from me although i wont lie i was confused a lot... that shwarman guy was good too and i hated him more than u did before this... cheers :Cheerz:

I (heart) Huckabees
I really enjoyed this movie as did my boyfriend. He is a philosophy major so this was right up his alley. I really really loved this movie. There were a lot of very good points and we had a great conversation about the movie afterwards. I defintately think it leaves you with many things to think about. Acting was superb and there were many very funny parts. Definately two thumbs up for me!!

i agree with you about the movie...definitely not your typical hollywood crap. i must say though that mark wahlberg and jason schwartzman have done several good movies in the past. you didn't like boogie nights, rushmore, or slackers? they were all very entertaining movies.
I thought it was an excellent movie. I think it was philosophical enough where it provoked thought, but didn't overdo the espousing of random, pseudo-intellectual musings (like The Matrix). MAde me think on how I approach life. Thumbs up.

Agreed. boogie nights is fantastic, has me laughing my head off every time i see it and shaking my head in amazement at the thought that people like that probably actually exist
Really liked this film, great premise, great script, and some great performances from wahlburg, lily t, hoffman, and schwartzman. Thought provoking, it would make a great rental. It's in my top 5 favorites for 2004.
