Re: True Blood

Definitely a good start to the season. Looks like they are going to push the envelope even further now. I won't spoil anything, but was a pretty rough first episode all around. I am looking forward to next week for sure.

Re: True Blood

Episode 2 was also crazy! According to the actor that plays Bill the season will take a dramatic turn in episode 3. Can't wait.

Over 3.7 million viewers tuned into episode 1...nice work HBO!

Re: True Blood

I saw all of season one through NetFlix and just caugh up to real time with On Demand. Quality show! I can't wait to see what happens between Jason and Sukhi.
sooo... were you one of them?
Actually no...lol

I will wait until the end of the season and then watch it all in one go. I usually do that with tv series that I really enjoy.. kinda like watching on long movie.. plus the suspense will kill me.

Re: True Blood

i like your idea idea ma'am! and that's really cool that you do that; i've done that for a few shows before and it was a awesome experience. i've been quite busy lately, so i've actually only seen parts of each episode of this season's true blood, and only when they are rerunning on HBO. kinda bummed, but it's something to look forward to at the end of the season forsure. 8)

Ugh it's too bad we have to wait until NEXT sunday to see episode 4. Any of you guys getting caught up? Any thoughts on the 2nd season thus far?

What up Phil!

Not sure why TV shows do that over the 4th of July. I am assuming it's a holiday for them as well. Or they are just waiting so they can rake in more viewers this Sunday when Entourage premieres right after episode 4 or True Blood.

Re: True Blood

i like it, despite the fact that the show has jacknifed into the glamorous and corny regions. i think mary ann is a deva, and bill compton is a dreadlord, and not a vampire. very entertaining this season is...

Re: True Blood

Great season...will Lafayette end up as a vamp?? I definitely think Eric will eat on him one way or the other!

Yeah after seeing the trailer for episode 4 it looks as if Lafayette is far from off the hook with Eric. Same goes for Jason...he is in some serious trouble.

I love how they decided to expand on Erik's character in this season. Here is a link to a brief interview with the actor who plays Bill Compton. It gives a little insight into the new season and how the show was derived from the book.

Re: True Blood

Anyone else getting aggravated with this season? How many times do we need to see that chick throwing parties and getting everyone horny? Something needs to happen with her and her giant pig. Hopefully will pick up next week. The previews always look solid for next episode and the same old shit happens. Just sayin:roll:

I hear ya on being sick of the crazy parties thrown by Mariane. We did get a new clue last night though...she is obviously one of those bull people or she is at least able to transform into one. When she was casting that spell and digging in the dirt she raised her hands and they look identical to the so-call "bull-man's hands"

It will be interesting to see what becomes of the Eric and Lafayette's situation. Eric let him feed on him for his own selfish reasons but still Eric obviously likes him for some reason.

Lastly it sounds like the Children of the Sun are to blame for Godrick's disappearance and they botched their attempt to kinnap Sookie...can't wait for next week!!!

I do this too

Re: True Blood

I'm most excited at seeing what happens when Sukhi tracks down that hotel employe who had the mind reading abilities. Not a coincidence is what he said. I wonder what that will lead to. Is it a ploy to get her to chase him and then get kidnapped by the Children of the Sun?

Re: True Blood

Best show on TV right IMO! Great plot, acting, and T&A! Anyone else think Bill's ward, Jessica, is smoking hot??

I'm holding off so far, but my resolve is breaking down slowly.

#1250020Post 77 of 128

Re: True Blood

Last Sunday's episode finally got me interested in the show again after it seemed like it was slipping away the past few episodes. So much development! Very excited to see if they can continue the momentum or if it'll be a letdown.

Re: True Blood

I think the story is getting a little loose and they need to tighten up a little. Maybe it will all come together this week.

Re: True Blood

Last night's episode was awesome! Godric is a freakin' badass and just when you thought the story was going to slow down...BAM!
