i watched the original english Office way before the US office came out and there is nothing like it.

WAY better than the US version.

the brit one is the original and better for being original - remaking something with a totally different audience as your target is never gonna work i don't think. imagine taking xx and changing most of the cast, then re-writing it with brit audience in mind - it would almost definitely be a load of shite i was going to replace the xx with the name of a show but i typed "american comedy" into google and it said error. :lol:

has some mildly funny moments but Gervais is genius and the original could never be beaten.

I was very suprised when they announced he was starting a US version - i though it was a joke to be honest, but fair play to him for sticking it out and its obviously popular its been running longer than the british classic
