K, So I just got finished wathcing a screener of this so-called "scary" movie that is supposed to be released in the US sometime soon. I must say that with Cary Elwes (Princess Bride) as your lead actor, your not going to get very good acting. In other words, the gay guy sucks at acting!!!!!! I have nothing against homosexual people so I dont want this to turn into a misunderstood post. Its just that as an actor, HE FREAKIN SUCKS!!!!

I dont recommend this movie to anyone. Im actually pissed off that I stayed up this late to watch it. Very disappointed. The end is the only interesting part of the whole movie. I was laughing half way through it cause the acting was just that funny. Not worth spending 10 bucks at the box office. :lol:

Im 5,000,000% sure there was another thrread on this film but for the life in me i cant find it.

Anyway, i havent seen it yet because the wifes too bloody scared to watch it. Ill wait till it comes out on vid then she can hide under the cussions just when the action gets going.

MJ- Take it from me, this movie is not even scary. Its a bit gross at times (shows a guy trying to saw off his leg) but the suspense was worse watching freaking "texas chainsaw...."

This movie sucked ass. If the director and the writer (who stars opposite Cary Elwes in the film), put half as much thought as they did into thinking out the deathtraps in the film, they [i]might[/i] just have something that comes off better than a shitty rough sketch.

And Danny Glover [b]is[/b] too old for this shit.

I didn't mind the movie that much, the little puppet is freaky!

In my opinion: Saw is a scary movie, but it is more of a thriller, than a horror movie. I dont think Saw will have the best legs though, I figure it will do a little better than The Exorsist the begining, in box office and quality of movie. If it has that kinda box office it should have a good run anyway, seeing how it had such a small budget.

I thought the cinematography(sp?) was pretty good. The movie isn't that scary, but it is a bit of a thriller with a decent ending. I'd say rent it.

I heard from many people that this movie was great. This is the only place I'm getting a "mixed message" from.

the movie was...."ehhhh" nothing great....but it wasnt bad too!! acting needed a little work but the movie had potenial! overall i give it a 5/10

I thought the movie was entertaining for the most part. The acting was garbage, but when that cop hit that tripwire...DAMN THAT WAS HOT! A friend of mine put this movie a step above SEVEN; I have to disagree with him. Seven was way better for plenty of reasons, but SAW delivered at the end.

Gee,I'm going to the cinema tomorrow to see this.I hope its half decent - having recently sat through the rudge and dawn of the dead i dont think i can take another crap film!
