there's things that had a magic moment on life and should remain in the past miami vice is one thing that is not going to survive his magic if its bring to modern days...scary :S

What a bunch of whiners. :roll: I loved the show, I'm a huge Michael Mann fan, and the casting is great!! I will go see this without a doubt. Especially because of the edgy subject matter, it will be great to see MV as an R-rated movie.

Perhaps Mann's career is a triumph of style over sustenance, but IMO he is THE BEST there is at that style, and that alone is worth the price of admission for me.

i think itll be great if they make a miami vice movie! that show was fucking coool! it would be amazing to see sunny and tubbs back in action! hope they make it something hilarious like starsky and hutch! :RockOn:

I think that the fact that Michael Mann is directing it will probably save the movie. He was one the producers of the original TV series, and also produced and directed "Crime Story" (remeber that series, with Dennis Farina?).

And how good was "Heat"? I love that movie!
