Re: In Bruges (2008)

actually it's quite sad of a film. left me entertained but depressed, but it was inevitable with a film such as this. I would recommend this to anyone looking to watch an assassin type film with a different kind of brew to it.

Sounds interesting enough for me to watch it. Thanks for the review.

Re: In Bruges (2008)

So Layla, did you see it yet? What were your thoughts. I found it kinda funny that after I watched it. I found out that my good friend watched it on probably the same day without my knowing about it. And now because of him, his roommate is gonna see it. This film is apparently getting a lot of person to person promotions.

Re: In Bruges (2008)

I watched it earlier this week and enjoyed it. At first, it feels like the movie would be boring, but the story gets interesting as the hitmen meet people in Bruges. The city of Bruges in Belgium is a big part of the story.

Re: In Bruges (2008)

just saw this...very enjoyable. truly a unique feel to it, and colin farrel was fantastic. he played the part of a person who was on the edge brillaintly, and very understated. just the slightest hints from the character at what was going on under the surface.

recommended!

Re: In Bruges (2008)

The film wasn't what I thought it was going to be. I had the idea that it was going to be a lot more violent and action packed, but it was still really good.

Re: In Bruges (2008)

^^^did you read our reviews from here before you watched it. I made no mention about violence in the film and focused more on characters. If you want violence, go watch a Rob Zombie flick.

Nah I watched before reading this. Call me crazy, but you'd think a movie about hitmen would be more violent. Even the commercials made it seem that way.

Re: In Bruges (2008)

Well they gotta make it seem that way to get all the people who only dig violence, and then hook em and make them watch an actual plot.

Re: In Bruges (2008)

This is a great film. Was impressed with Colin Farrell, usually hate anything he's in. It is a bit slow to start so if you have ADD or something this is not for you. Loved the dialogue as well. This is a bit like Reservoir Dogs imo

Highly recommended.

Re: In Bruges (2008)

Agreed on the slow start, was wondering what was going on. But definitely interesting, and Farrel was actually good in it. Recommended.
