Its late and I just got back from the movies with my girlfriend. We saw "Friday Night Lights". This movie was freakin' dope!!! I highly recommend this movie to all.

haha. i was only joking. i didnt know it was REALLY about hs football. i actually might have seen a commercial for this when i was boozin' one night recent. memory tends to blur after 5 hours of vodka/cranberry :Wasted: :Wacko:
i've heard from other people that its not too great. good football movie, but ass usual a lame plot. i've never much cared for ESPN movies... but i'm glad you liked it though :)

it wasn't bad. i enjoyed it.
but it followed the "Rudy" "Remember the Titans" blueprint.

Hey Garrick you should peep that Pete Rose movie ESPN made "Hustle". I have to admit I totally hate ESPN movies big time, but for some strange reason I was glued to the TV watching this one. What a fucked up gambling life he lived.
oh, i know he was a hardcore gambler. the movie was good though? i always kind of write off ESPN movies without giving them a proper chance. i'm sure they'll show it again 10 million times on ESPN though. I still see the bear bryant/texas aTm movie on all the time.

I read the book back in High School... I want to see the movie and see if it lives up to the story in the book. From the TV spots it looks like it is more hype than truth... But that is 1/2 the fun!!! :RockOn:

This looks like a cool movie, of course I expect it to be glamorized, but that's Hollywood for ya. However my all time favorite football movie has to be Any Given Sunday, watching that on the big screen rocks. :RockOn:
Glad i did not waste my money on this movie then. HS football sucks.
