Re: Fast Food Nation
good flick. pretty scary to see how bad fastfood is for your body, so quickly. but again he was overdoing it pretty hardcore.
spurlocks next movie has him going to afhanistan to look for bin laden, looks pretty funny.
Re: Fast Food Nation
resonator: Not the tv show fast food nation where this guy east nothing but mcdonald's for a month, the underground documentary about corporate america and how all these major fast food chains buy the cheapest mass produced beef they can get their greedy hands on in order to cut expense. In the movie, this particular meat packaging company employs illegal aliens from mexico for very cheap labor. With this in mind, these people are forced to work in very unsanitary and dangerous conditions and sometimes a human limb ends up in someone's hamburger... Anyway, this company rep for some "wataburger knock off" was asked to do an investigation pertaining to their meat supplier and the high content of feces in their hamburgers... as he dug deeper he discovered that at this assembly line type slaughter house sometimes more than just beef ends up in all those pretty little meat pattys, reason being.... well shit i don't wanna spoil the flick... i can tell you guys one thing, i don't eat at bk, micky d's, or wherever as often... j
Re: Fast Food Nation
humm...havent heard about that one, sounds like a flick id like to check out though. i assume this is based off the book of the same title? i read this a couple of years ago, it was a good read.
oops your totally right too, i was thinking you were talking about super size me, oops.
Re: Fast Food Nation
movie is fantastic. ending made me not want to eat beef for like...i dunno at least 5 minutes, then i mowed down a steak. i don't eat fast food anyway, so it didn't change any habits or anything, but for people who do eat that shit, it should hit hard.
Re: Fast Food Nation
i wonder how accurately this movie depicts what actually goes into those so called "beef patties"
